Hold. Bend. Let go.
A free retro soccer game about one free kick at a time. Bend it past a wall of monkeys, light the FEVER, win the tapes.
Coming free to iPhone, iPad and Mac.
A Mekina game
Every kick is three moves.
- Hold to lock your aim. Power rises and falls while you keep holding.
- Bend. Slide sideways to curl it round the wall. Swipe up to lift it, down to dip it.
- Let go to strike. The aim line runs on the same physics as the kick.
Not penalties. Free kicks.
No penalty spot, no shootout. A real free kick: a wall that jumps and shuffles, defenders who chase, a keeper who reads the flight. 504 setups, 17 to 33 metres out, and no two kicks quite the same.
Goals in a row light the FEVER.
Every goal is worth 100 × your fever, up to ×6. Five bonuses add as much as 150 more: Top bins, Bender, Off the woodwork, Through traffic and Dipper. Miss, and it’s back to ×1.
One goal can be worth 750. Try a few on the scoreboard.

The keeper learns your side.

Before you ask
Is it free?
Yes. Freekick ’97 is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Are there ads?
On iPhone and iPad, an ad can play between chapters, never during a round, and the first chapter has none. The Mac version has no ads.
Does it need the internet?
No. The game plays offline. Game Center is optional.
Do I need an account?
No.
Can I buy outfits?
No. Every look unlocks by playing.
Does my progress carry over to my other devices?
Yes. Your progress is kept in iCloud, so it follows your Apple Account to your iPhone, iPad and Mac, and survives a reinstall.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes. Hold A or the right trigger to aim and charge, steer the curl with the left stick and let go to shoot. Menus work with the pad too.
Your kick is waiting.
